Confirm how this particular flight will carry the pet
Ask the operating airline to confirm the route and transport mode in writing. Permission from MOCCAE does not guarantee cabin acceptance. Direct flights and connecting itineraries can create different handling and transit questions.
Ask where the animal is handed over, who checks the import permit, where release happens and how the owner collects the pet. Keep the receiving contact and onward transport plan available offline.
A UAE visit needs a return plan too
For return to India, keep the Indian departure records and follow the Indian re-import process. If a UAE-resident pet is leaving the UAE and will return there, MOCCAE has separate returning-resident conditions; arrange that before departure.
