Pet boarding vs pet sitting: which arrangement fits?

Compare overnight boarding, care visits at home and daycare by routine, supervision, access and quote details before requesting care.

Availability and scope are confirmed after review. Submitting a request does not confirm a booking.

Start with where care happens

Boarding means staying at a provider’s place. Sitting means an agreed person cares for your pet at home. Daycare usually covers daytime hours. None of these names alone tells you the supervision level or exact included tasks.

Compare your pet’s routine

Discuss how your pet handles unfamiliar places, people and animals. At-home visits preserve the setting but do not automatically provide continuous presence. Boarding can include overnight accommodation but the exact staffing and routine must be checked.

Compare practical responsibilities

For sitting, agree home access, keys, visits, updates and unexpected delays. For boarding, agree transport, sleeping arrangements, feeding and collection times. Ask each provider how concerns are escalated and which emergency contact they will use.

Request the right proposal

Tell Anist your dates, location, pet details and whether you need daytime visits, an overnight place or a longer presence at home. Compare each confirmed proposal on the same tasks and hours.

Put the plan into practice

Share your location, dates and requirements through Anist Concierge. The team will review the request and discuss the next steps with you.
