0. Partner workspace and care records
Partner sign-in uses a one-time code sent to the registered email, with a ten-minute expiry and limited attempts. The mobile number may help identify a registration but is not verified by SMS. A private sign-in session lasts up to four hours and can be ended with Sign out. Sign-in does not grant partner approval.
After a recent email-code sign-in, partners can optionally add a passkey. We store the credential identifier, public key, counter and account association. Your device or passkey provider keeps the private key and performs the screen-lock or biometric check; Anist does not receive biometric data. Passkey requests expire after five minutes and are bound to this website. Email-code sign-in remains available. Contact internal@anist.in if a passkey or account needs recovery or revocation.
In their private workspace, a partner may save client names, mobile numbers, animal names, appointments and optional care or vaccination notes after confirming the client’s permission. These records are private to that partner. Anist administrators may process them for support or lawful operational purposes with appropriate access.
Anist Pet ID linking requires an explicit access grant from the pet owner. A pet ID alone is not permission to access a history or attach a record. A pet owner can revoke access; previous lawful care records remain subject to applicable retention obligations. Cross-device pet-parent access is a separate rollout; the current owner-access API requires an authenticated private profile.
Appointments and care notes are excluded from Meta advertising measurement. Do not include human health records, unrelated personal information or identity documents in notes. Contact internal@anist.in about correction, access or deletion of partner workspace records.
1. Information we collect
Contact: your name and mobile number; email is required in the current website registration forms for confirmation and partner sign-in; older provider registrations may not contain an email. We save this information when you submit the first registration step, even if you finish your profile later.
Location: city, state and PIN code for onboarding and local service planning. A later profile may include a street address, locality or service area.
Partner profile: professional or business name, services, experience, availability, indicative fees, team size and relevant qualifications or registration details that you choose to provide. These support application review; submitting them does not establish that we have verified you.
Pet profile: animal name and species, optional age, breed and notes, plus an Anist Pet ID. Optional pet, professional and workspace photos remain private in this release.
Administration and access: application reference, submission and update times, consent choices and changes, private access sessions, review status, internal comments and follow-up dates. Technical request information is used to operate and protect the service.
2. Why we use it
To save and manage your registration, arrange the onboarding callback you request, send a registration confirmation if you provide email, review a partner profile and respond to support requests.
To create and maintain private animal profiles and Anist IDs. An ID is a profile reference, not a verified identity document, microchip, medical certificate or insurance policy.
To plan rollout by location and service category, prevent duplicate submissions and abuse, protect private access, and meet applicable legal requirements.
Public directory publication is a separate optional choice and requires review. Only the approved business name, city and services are displayed; your phone, email, precise address and private photos are excluded.
3. Registration, marketing and advertising are separate
The notice beside the registration button explains the contact processing and callback you request. Optional profile fields can be completed later. Do not submit another person’s contact or private patient records without appropriate authority.
WhatsApp, RCS and SMS marketing uses a separate, initially unchecked choice. Refusal does not prevent registration. Change this choice in My profile or email internal@anist.in. These marketing channels are not connected for automated sending in the current release; registered sender, template and applicable telecom consent requirements must be completed before sending.
Advertising measurement is optional and available only on Anist partner pages. After permission, Meta Pixel measures partner-page views and form starts; a Lead is sent through Pixel and the Conversions API only after the partner request is saved. The two Lead events share a random identifier to prevent double counting.
Meta receives browser identifiers and technical connection information, including user-agent information, plus generic partner event labels. Anist does not send applicant name, phone, email, business details, free-text, pet details or health information to Meta. Approved campaign labels may remain with the private application after opt-in.
Use Privacy choices on partner pages to withdraw advertising permission. Anist stops future measurement, clears accessible Meta cookies and cancels pending event delivery. Previously received events cannot be recalled by clearing your browser cookies.
6. Retention, correction and deletion
We keep registration and profile information for onboarding, ongoing profile access and the purpose for which it was collected, subject to applicable record-keeping requirements. Current access-session and technical expiry settings are not a guarantee of automatic profile deletion; a scheduled registration-retention cleanup is not currently active.
Email internal@anist.in to request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent or information about retention. You may also change available choices in My profile. Include your application reference if available. We may verify control of the registered contact before acting; do not email passwords, bank details or identity-document scans unless a secure, necessary verification process is agreed.
After verification, we will explain the action taken and any specific legal reason for retaining particular records. Deleted application information may remain temporarily in provider backups according to their backup lifecycle. Records lawfully shared or exported earlier require separate handling.
Accepted Meta outbox payloads are removed after delivery. Pending jobs have capped retries and expire after seven days. Withdrawing advertising permission cancels pending delivery. Consent and safe event-status records support accountability.
7. Requests, grievances and applicable law
For all privacy and onboarding queries, contact the Anist support and grievance desk at internal@anist.in. We aim to acknowledge requests within seven working days and resolve them within 30 days where possible; statutory deadlines, where applicable, take precedence. If additional verification or time is needed, we will explain why.
You can request information about your data, correction, erasure and withdrawal. Nomination and escalation rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act apply as the relevant provisions commence. Nothing in this notice limits statutory rights or access to competent authorities.
This notice is informed by India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the notified Rules, 2025, which have phased commencement. It also accounts for applicable information-technology and commercial-communication requirements. We do not represent this page as an independent compliance certification.
Registration is for adults aged 18 or older. Do not upload children’s faces, human medical information, Aadhaar, PAN or bank documents in this onboarding release. Contact us if a child’s personal information has been submitted so that we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
8. Changes and official references
We update the date and version when this policy changes. A new processing purpose will receive an appropriate notice and separate permission where needed. Questions about this policy can be sent to internal@anist.in.
